Description
Cartridge seals consist of a pre-assembled mechanical seal that can be installed as a whole over the shaft or shaft sleeve.
Compared to a standard mechanical seal, a cartridge seal has the advantage that it is quick and easy to install.
A mechanical seal is preferred over conventional gaskets, except for fire water pump applications.
