Description
FAM BABY STAR ALPHA stainless steel membrane pressure vessels
The BABY-STAR stainless steel expansion vessels are a high quality product, thanks to the materials used it offers maximum guarantee of hygiene, resistance and durability. The pressure boilers consist of an external reservoir made of stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316 and a built-in replaceable membrane in Butyl or EPDM. This is non-toxic material with very low permeability and is NSF-ACS-WRAS-KTWD1 certified. This function ensures that the pre-pressure in the vessel remains constant for a long time, making the membrane less likely to break due to excessive stretching. The pressure vessels can be equipped with membranes of different materials so that special fluids (oil, glycol, etc.) can also be used. This is on request.
Because these tanks are also suitable for higher pressures, there are also versions with thicker material for certain contents that can handle a pressure of 16 or even 25 bar. This in combination with the full stainless steel plates makes it very suitable for the food industry or for drinking water systems.
